I have VERY curly hair... and it's all natural. Curly hair is prone to be a bit dry %26amp; frizzy. I have gone to numerous salons %26amp; have even gone to several hair consultants. What has seemed to work best for me is John Freda's Frizz-Ease products. He makes a hair serum that helps lock in the moisture to keep from drying, which makes the curls looks healthier.

As for shampoos to use, I was told that the after the shower product is more important for curly hair care than the shampoo %26amp; conditioners... If your hair is more dry than average try MOTIONS shampoo %26amp; conditioner. It is found in the ethnic hair care isle. Pantene also makes a shampoo for relaxed hair but does a great job holding in moisture.

Another tip for curly hair is to make sure you use a difuser on your hair dryer... if you can get an ionic one its ever better... I got it not to long ago %26amp; found a dramatic difference.

Then hydrate with a deep conditioner like Nature's Gate Biotin Conditioner (white can/blue writing). Then seal the shine and moisture with a spray of rosemary and chamomile or some really lightweight leave in like Paul Mitchell's leave in Conditioner. He's the man. Girl, forget all that cheap, artificial junk for your hair. Treat it right.

They make a terrific moisturizing/styling product called Growth Creme it comes in different fragrances: peaches %26amp; creme, buttercreme, etc. It's a great product. I usually use it to set a two-strain twist out. I spritz with distilled water as I go, just moistening each section before I apply the product. When I'm done (about 30 min.), I go to sleep on it. The next morning, I undue the twist for fullness and I ready to go. The product leaves my hair soft and supple, but with a good hold. Try it. I guarantee you'll like it!
