My natural hair colour is medium blonde, and I have coloured it with a permanent very light blonde. Do the colour removal kits work?

I hear ya girl i'm trying to do the same. Except i've been dark brown and i've high lighted many times. All of that yuk is so dry. so i've been trying to grow out... My hair is very curly so its not as obvious when i wear it down... which is hardly ever. but in your case i would get a kit that is closest to your natural and go over that blond.

You're gonna just have to re-dye it a darker blonde hun. Permanent means permanent.

If you've went lighter that means bleach was involved. Bleach will not come out as it has taken the color out of your hair. The only option is to find a dye the same color as your natural color and dye your hair with it. Color removal kits only work why you dye your hair a darker color... nothing can removed bleach.

Yes Rachel they do but it takes more than one kit 2 work an its got 2 be a good named brand 2 i used 2 be blonde an it woz a nightmare 2 get out of my hair took me 6 different colour removal kits 2 get it out!

I have never used a removal kit, you can try to strip the color by washing it with regular shampoo a few times but the best bet is to allow it to grow out and trim it every 6-8 weeks.

DONT USE A COLOR REMOVAL KIT, seriously, all it is is bleach. ive done it. just dye your hair darker, a few shades darker than your natrual color if your hair is really blond right now.

also this works. get a daily clarifing shampoo and lather up your hair. let it dry on your hair. something in it stips alot of the bleach out but you need to do some serious conditioning afterward

i just had the same problem, go to you hair salon, they will see if the hair is weak, if it isn't, they can strip the previous colour, to your normal colour, or simply dye over it with a darker hair colour.
