Actually just STOP relaxing you hair, you'll eventually have a head full of "new growth" or "natural hair".... take really good care fo your previously relaxed hair to reduce/eliminate split ends and breakage...then just blow dry and press the new growth to keep ot straight and sleek....once your "new growth" has reached a length that you can deal with cut your previously relaxed hair off...it will take a while depending on how long you would like it to be (just rock a short Halle Berry, or medium/bob Kelly Rowland style!)...but natural hair grows faster than previously relaxed hair..good luck

if you cant afford to go to the salon this is what you do: Wash your hair with neutralizer shampoo and condioner every time you wash your hair. With that it strips your hair of the perm faster and safer. That should only take like 2-3washes befor its back to its puffy at the roots, so there after when you wash your hair just towel dry and add curly mousse and go and your hair will do the rest.

The longer i kept in braids the more my hair grew and the thicker and more NATURAL it turned out.
