you can get braids when ever you want. If I am understanding the question correctly. You just cut off the last of your relaxed ends. Once you cut your hair you can get braids right after.

There is only a time limit to wait when you just got a relaxer and you want braids. if that is the case then is best to wait two weeks. But dont do it before a week after the relaxer.
