ive heard head and shoulders does the trick, like leave it in like 30 mins. does any1 know how i can get my natural hair colour back. i recently dyed it black, my natural hair colour is a mediumish brown? help please.

mix some shampoo with some 40 vol. pro oxide and a little bleach. shampoo your hair and leave it on for a few mins. you can watch the color lighten some but it won't bring it back to your natural shade but will lighten it some. you may have to repeat it again.

Strip it with bleach and re-dye it your natural color...think carefully next time when coloring your hair.

SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING I DID A WHILE BACK!=)WELL EVENTUALLY WASHING YOUR HAIR SEVERAL TIMES WILL DO THE TRICK. YOU WILL GRADUALLY NOTICE YOUR HAIR GETTING LIGHTER. BUT IF YOUR THAT DESPERATE YOU CAN GET A HIGHLIGHTING KIT AT WAL MART AND HIGHLIGHT YOUR HAIR WITH SOFT BROWN TONES TO LIGHTEN YOUR HAIR JUST A LIL BIT. I KNOW IT WORKED FOR ME!

Because you darkened your hair - you have to go through a 2 color processing to get it back to where you want it to be. I would NOT suggest that you do this at home. I know it's probably less expensive to go to Walmart and pick up a bleaching kit, and a color kit, and coloring it - but you will SERIOUSLY damage your hair.

Hit a salon - talk to a stylist - they will strip your hair down and recolor it. They can also put highlights or whatever in it so that your hair looks natural again.

Any product that your going to put in is going to cause additional damage to hair.

Sorry I have had many accidents like this. You can use a color stripper, but this will also take out your natural color and turn it an orange so that you may go back and recolor. Unfortunately it will only get back to its natural color once grown out. Good luck=)
