Tired of waiting for my my natural hair colour to grow out so want to dye it?

Last august I dyed my hair a dark blond/light brown at a salon. Now it's growing out and I am tired of waiting to go back to my natural hair colour which is black. I want to dye it myself back to black but I am scared that it's going to come out a crazy *** colour. Should I dye it at home or go to a salon? thanks for the help everyone:D

going back to a salon is always your safest bet, even if it's more expensive. i'd personally rather shell out for a professional job then end up with green hair!

but you should be okay with a home dye over the bath tub. there's very few hair accidents in comparision to the ease and cheapness that home dyes offer.

and if your home dye does fail, you can always go to a hair dressers afterwords.

home dyes may save you loads of money or only cost you a few quid more if you do end up at a salon.

and home dying your hair black is nearly always easy. black very rarely goes wrong. but maybe buy two dyes incase you miss bits of hair out the first time round and have blonde bits in!
