Has anyone here let their natural hair color grow in ??!?

i was thinken on letting my natural hair color grow in, the roots are about 1 and a half inches long, how long would it take to get the roots to my shoulders, then i will cut the rest off. thanx

you could die your hair your natural color, so you dont have to wait that long. i grew mine out when i was like 10 years old [15 now] and i always wore ponytails so it was less noticable. isnt it embarrasing? i think you should die it your natural color, so you dont have to wait, and when your real roots grow out more, its not embarrasing. it would take about 6 months im guessing to grow your hair that long. probably longer time tho.

When i got my hair dyed when i was like... 8? i had to let it grow out. eeek. lol

Let the salon get as close as they can to your natural color and let it grow worked for me.
