Was your hair with Head and Shoulders, its fantastic for removing unwanted tints from hair but drastic if used as an everyday!! It can remove varnish from a table so clearly strips colour out very quickly....I recommend this to alot of my clients and every single one has been successful... it took a while but they got there in the end.. Good luck xx

Let the dye grow out of your hair. Thats the only way without stripping it.

If you want your natural color, quit dying your hair.

Shave you hair off and wait it'll grow back...
Thats the cheapest way anyway lol

I think just let it grow out. Bleach it a bit to get most of teh hait color out. I think there is also a Fructise Shampoo that helps restore hair color. Hope this helps.

One thing you can do is get extensions. They'll cover your natural hair, so it's not exposed to the sun which can lighten it. Also, it'll allow it to grow out and have the color you dyed it, and your natural color..and no one will see it!
I did the same thing to grow out a perm in my hair and it worked. If you find the right person, you won't pay much. Also, don't know where you live but go on Craig's list and ask someone to do it for you and you'll get it done cheaply!
Good luck

Black is very difficult to get out.. your best bet, and fairly cheap would be to go to a beauty school, ask for a student close to graduation, and have them help you. They will probably put a soap/bleach cap on you and fix it.....prepare to spend several hours there. The students do work under instructors, so dont worry about that.

I don't think you can if you used a permanent colour, especially if you went lighter. If you went darker, I know that Vosene and Head %26amp; Shoulders shampoos both are good for taking semi-permanent colour out.
Whatever you do though, don't use one of those colour remover dyes as they just bleach your hair!!!

Black dye is notoriously hard to remove from hair, I think you are going to have to save up and get it done professionally. I don't think any home kit will do a good job, your hair will probably turn green or orange and white at the roots if you try to bleach it out and will break off.

Use clear, cheap shampoos (they strip your color without being too harsh or damaging) and go out into the sun as much as possible.
Your TRUE color might be augmented a little but in time it should come back.

cheapest way would be to let it grow out naturally, unfortunately that could take a while and look a bit weird....
Not many dyes will go over black - best thing would be to seek professional advie, follow that advice and I suppose now that you've tried it once you'll know you dont like it and wont do it again!!

One way to do it is buy a temporary wash. Pick the lightest color to put on your hair, it's good for 30 washes. Depending on the length and how long it takes for your hair to grow, you may have to a few times until the black grows out. With the temporary wash though, your hair will not seem so black. You may also want to cut your hair, to speed up the growing out of the black color.
I once had my hair highlighted, but they did a horrible job, big clumps of blond streaks, I didn't like it at all, so I put a temporary wash in and it softened the color.
Remember spring is coming so the sun will help with lightening your hair.
Hang in there!

look in yellowpages for either local hair training salon or local beauty hairdressing college
they do things like this for free or only a few pounds to cover costs
and the teachers watch them all the time so no need to worry about mistakes
