I'm racially mixed and decided to go natural... how kind of hair products should I use?

I'm racially mixed and my hair is... kind of weird. My hair kind of looks like baby hair (and feels like it too) and the roots are kind of wavy (tight)... Only a quarter of an inch has tight waves though... after that, the waves look kind of straight... but then mid-way my hair turns into medium sized Shirley Temple curls... What products should I use? My natural hair isn't dry... and what should I do about the permed part of my hair?

Don't use anything heavy.... like Pink Lotion... it will dry out your hair. My niece is mixed and we use anti frizz products. You don't need much at all. I too have naturally curly hair and I like the Frizz Ease product line. Shampoo, conditioner.. the whole line is great. You only need a small amount of the serums and I recommend using the straightening lotion after using a dab of serum. When I use the lotion and allow my hair to dry naturally, I have soft waves, instead of the tight curls.

ok uim racially mixed and i never do anything permanent to my hair to wear it straight i use the remington wet to straight straightner when i wear it curly i use garnier frutis gel and either way i wear it it looks natural. when i dont do nothing to it, it is like wavy.

I can't give you any advice..although you're describing your hair. Mixed children sometimes have different hair textures..It would probably be in your best interest to see a professional hairdresser. It sounds as though you have fine hair. I don't know the style you are wearing that makes a difference as well as the type of hair products you would need to use.

you have to let the perm grow out first. uh being that you are mixed I'm assuming with Black, cuz most folks who say "natural" are Black pple,anyway, uh yeah usually when you are mixed you have all varieties of hair types all up in there. I'm not mixed, at least not like 1/2 this and 1/2 that.
